Kickstarter start, Kickstarter cancel, well, that happened. I have conducted a prudent strategic retreat, to build community and all sorts of informational/promotional stuff, like play-through videos, how-to-play videos, the bones of the future Kickstarter.
I had no idea the Kickstarter page was picture-based; I was wholly unprepared with the page. That's what happens when one is painted into a corner: you end up having your choices taken away. In hindsight, it would have been fine to simply delay the start of the campaign, but money had been spent on promotion already, unfortunately, and so that factor combined with pride and stubbornness and here we are: looking forward to the NEXT Kickstarter campaign. That's OK. We're looking forward.
